So true. If you think about the big-team clashes over the years, mainly in the Champions League, one team is often more dominant through a series.

If you think about games like Borussia Dortmund smashing Real Madrid to reach the Champions League final in 2013, with Bayern Munich’s dominance over Juventus and Barcelona also coming in the same season. The losing teams were just couldn’t cope with a similar quality opponent.

I’m not sure if the current structure will continue, and hopefully the Arsenal’s, Borussia Dortmund’s and Atletico Madrid’s can find a way to keep challenging or, in Arsenal’s case, actually challenge the mega-rich sides.
