Will season of goodwill last in boardrooms of Premier League? | Louise Taylor | Football | The Guardian
I think the author may have jinxed one or two managers with this write-up. Guess we’ll see.
I’m always a fan of keeping faith unless it’s blatantly obvious change is needed. Maybe because I’m always under the microscope in FM(Football Manager), except this time when I’ve kept “Untouchable” status for a few seasons now.
And, yes, I know that viewpoint may a bit confusing given my stance on Arsene Wenger but I don’t think so. There’s been 10 years of under-performing at Arsenal and a lot of that is down to Wenger’s stubbornness and indecision or poor decisions. Doubt he’ll ever get sacked mid-season though.
I guess we’ll see what happens. I don’t think the Christmas will be so merry for someone though. It just seems inevitable that a sacking will happen but it would be a nice surprise if it doesn’t.
In other news. I may be locked up in a hole for the weekend thanks to the wonderful Mrs. getting me a PS4 and FIFA 15. Just saying. If I don’t write, that’s why.
Until next time.
