Ha. Great read. I don’t think, like the author, that the idea of one host for the World Cup is remotely possible anytime soon but I like the thought, and the reasoning behind it.
I mean, Brazil went through its fair share of trouble leading up to the 2014 World Cup and, of course, we know about all the crap with FIFA and the bidding process for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.(Have you been keeping up on recent events with that? We’ll get a post out at some point).
Still an interesting read but it’s very unlikely that a one-host solution will ever come about.
