Any possibility of Manchester United getting as good as Real Madrid gets in this deal definitely hinges on Sergio Ramos. As the author said, it’s a matter of when, not if, David De Gea is leaving.

If he leaves for a fee, unlikely to be a big one, and Ramos doesn’t go the other way then Madrid wins. I don’t see Ramos in Manchester at this time, though he has a former teammate in Di Maria and fellow Spanish nationals, Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Victor Valdes.
