Manchester United’s failure to land Sergio Ramos has seen them target a teammate to shore up central defense. Pepe has been linked, via the Daily Star, with a move to the Red Devils. Everton have held firm against Chelsea’s interest in their young star central defender, John Stones. According to the Telegraph, Chelsea are ready to up their offer for the young defender to £30 million to seal the deal. That kind of deal would be hard for the Toffees to turn down even if it means giving up one of their brightest talents.

Manchester City may be making some headway in one of the biggest moves of the season. Wolfsburg attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne may not be unsellable after all, as the Mirror reports Wolfsburg may let him leave if City meet their £50 million valuation.
