In the Champions League a first-leg home defeat is very bad – ESPN FC
So, Bayern, Barcelona, Wolfsburg are pretty much assured progress then? It definitely looks good for the two German sides. Bayern has enough quality to score goals if necessary in Portugal and all Wolfsburg need is a strong defensive performance and maybe an away goal to sew it all up. Barcelona will feel pretty confident they can score at least one goal even if it will be tough to attain. PSG is on iffy ground. Can they score two away at City with the home side likely to be closer to full-strength? We shall see.
