Passion or not, there’s a limit to what pass as arguing a call and disrespect. More often than not big calls like that in important games result in the player speaking on a lot more than the referee’s decision. Vardy’s reaction seems to be in line with that and for all we saw we definitely didn’t hear what was said. Maybe we can get some world-class lip readers to figure it out If the referee felt strongly enough to make it a big part of his match report and the FA have read and agreed then he may be deserving of more than the one game. Referees, other players etc need to be respected and situations like that can’t just be passed of as someone being passionate.
