It has been good seeing Fernando Torres scoring again but the article sums it up well. The expected goals during his time at Chelsea compared to Atletico is pretty interesting. Torres’ form won’t last long and Atletico Madrid would need to find a replacement for Griezmann if he somehow leaves this summer.
Agreed with the author, a good move for both sides. Torres has looked better than he has in years even if he will never be the Fernando Torres of old.
As much as it would be great, I don’t see a resurgene for Fernando Torress and I don’t think he’ll be the preferred option over Jackson Martinez or even Luciano Vietto. I hope he does well but we’ll have to wait and see.
