It has been a ridiculously poor season for Marseille. Hopefully they get to the cup final. I don’t see them beating PSG but at least getting there would be a start. There’s no guarantee that the change of ownership, if it even happens right away, or manager etc would fix things immediately but time isn’t on their side. Some decent talent in that squad but, like last summer, they may just end up leaving if things are rectified sooner than later.

So crazy to see Marseille in this state. Michel was appointed as the manager. Hopefully they get a win on Sunday.

Very tough situation for Marseille heading into the season. Hopefully they find a replacement soon or else Mandanda and N’Koulou may just leave before the window ends.

Really crappy window from Marseille here even if Marcelo Bielsa stays. If you let someone like Andre Ayew leave for free you’re opening the door for much more.
Seems like it will be a whole new team next season.

Not too much to say about this other than it’s a great article on Marseille.
I’ve gravitated towards Marseille as my French club but I’ve liked Paris Saint-Germain at times as well. Hey, I’m not French so it’s lets not all get in a huff about liking rivals.(It’s different for Arsenal, of course).
Anyways that doesn’t matter. Just read the article.

Before we go into a day of some interesting Arsenal-based articles, Paul Wilkes takes a look at Marseille so far this season under Marcelo Bielsa.
I would say Marseille is my favorite French club so it’s good to see them doing well in the league again. They hold a four-point lead in the league right now, with a mouth-watering clash against Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow. If they can make it to January on top or, at least, level with PSG and get reinforcements then the league may be theirs.
The worry is that things may begin to fall apart in the new year as it did during his reign with Atletico Bilbao. Certainly might not be fun for all involved at the club if he sits on hot coffee again.
