Definitely a strange one if it comes to pass. Reports are that Mangala is staying at Manchester City if Otamendi and that would be huge for the club defensively. I’m sure they’ll be even happier considering Otamendi was reportedly in Manchester United’s sights as well. City still need to address cover for Sergio Aguero in the long-term or else all this early good feeling will be gone should he go down for a lengthy period.
