EU Brexit impact on European Premier League players – ESPN FC
EU Brexit impact on European Premier League players – ESPN FC
Very interesting read. While it seems pretty clear Britain leaving the EU won’t affect the Premier League much, if at all, there’s still one question to ask. Would players want to bother with the work permit process even it it’s basically a formality. Might not seem like such a big deal now but who knows. As stated in the article the Premier League as is would certainly find a way to keep the stars coming in. I definitely don’t see the limit on foreigners even being a consideration.

Financial fair play: how can Manchester City still spend £130m in one window? | Owen Gibson | Football | The Guardian
So, the cash-rich clubs still get their way for the most part. Manchester City can, if all goes well, get most of that outlay back this season, and when the new deal kicks in, by regaining the Premier League title and going further in the Champions League.

Your TV football dilemma: spend more and get the same | Barney Ronay | Football | The Guardian
While this goes mainly to the British audience, I’m sure some in the US are annoyed with having to pay extra for sports packages that still may not get you everything you want.

Hmm. See how many Fly Emirates shirts there were? Lots of money floating around but the Premier League still stands out. Crazy.
