I’ve been thinking about whether or not Ligue 1 would be more competitive at the top next season with the expected, and possible, changes at PSG. I guess many could scoff and say no but the author takes a look at what may be. Lyon remain the best bet for neutrals searching for a challenger to cheer on. Really hoping for a Marseille resurgence.
I think, and hope, Newcastle can pull it out. As mentioned, their last two games, give definite cause for hope. Norwich City has to play a Manchester United side that will still feel it has something to play for and Sunderland face a Chelsea side who could win just as easily as lose. Benitez has definitely turned things around but we’ll only know if it’s too late one the 38 games or done. Or if Newcastle somehow lose this weekend.
Agreed. Goals will come.
Anyone who still doesn’t rate Muller is crazy man. Such a great player.
He has kicked up a notch in recent seasons. Needs to continue that, especially this season.
Agreed. Still plenty of questions for France but they have plenty of talent coming through. Hopefully Fekir makes it back but this side should put in a god performance as hosts of Euro 2016.
Good to see him back on form. Not sure why he didn’t play as much at Manchester City. Inter have been efficient so far but there’s a long road ahead. It might be a great season for Jovetic personally though.
Probably not a team that many outside of Ligue 1 will be watching this season but looks like a side worth keeping an eye on. Surprised they got Quintero.
The talent that Crystal Palace has on the wings is crazy. Very solid side that knows what the gameplan is and execute it well. Will trouble the big teams a lot this season.
Agreed across the board. This is shaping up to be a very interesting Serie A season. Hopefully all the contenders perform.
