The real fun begins now. Being a club legend will certainly give Zidane a bit more authority and leeway than his predecessors, and a Champions League trophy helps as well. We’ll see how long all the goodwill lasts if things take a turn for the worse.
The fact that he’s keeping Real Madrid in the hunt for La Liga will help as well. I think Perez will be more disappointed to reach there and not win it as opposed to not reaching there. IT really doesn’t matter what we think though as anything goes in Florentino Perez’s world. Zidane should probably stay based on Madrid’s form since he’s been in charge.
The answer will always depend on results. Beating Atletico to second place would be a nice start. Overturning this deficit against Wolfsburg would be huge even if Madrid then falls in the semifinals. It’s hard to say what Florentino Perez will do. Should ZIdane stay? For the sake of continuity, yes.
Zinedine Zidane is too majestic for the words of mere mortals. He needs no describing. Still a good piece though. Truly legendary player.
Well, thanks for bringing that up. I prefer to not think about that moment in Zidane’s career thank you very much.
Well. Not much else to add to there. We’d know Florentino Perez is officially crazy if Zinedine Zidane becomes the manager. Not sure why it’s even a possibility but anything could happen. Maybe he just doesn’t like working with youngsters though. Maybe he’ll be great as a first-team manager. Maybe, maybe, maybe.
