In celebration of Raúl, Real Madrid’s swashbuckling icon – These Football Times

Before I was strictly Barcelona, there was a time that I was equally okay with Real Madrid. Raul had a lot to do with that, as did Zidane, Casillas(my favorite all-time keeper slightly ahead of David Seaman) and Guti.  Raul was such class. He was one of my favorite strikers and it’s crazy how both he and Iker didn’t retire at Madrid. Raul played with such elegance and was clinical as well.
